In the Conference League, Chelsea hosted Armenian side FC Noah and kept them goalless firing 8 past their keeper Čančarević. As hard outsiders at The Bridge, FC Noah had a strong start but let the home side take advantage of mistakes early on.

Chelsea broke the UECL record as the first team to win 8-0 in the competition. Now placed at the top of the table with an impressive +13 goal difference, the Blues are strong favourites to win the competition sending out a strong warning to the other clubs.

No match for the Chelsea youngsters, FC Noah suffered their heaviest defeat in history. The Armenian side weren’t without chances however, with seven shots on target and a fairly equal split of possession.

FC Noah coach Rui Mota will have to look closely at the defensive failures of his club this evening if they are to progress in this competition. Its been a tough night for the travelling squad and fans.

The first half looked promising for FC Noah, barely letting The Blues have a touch on the ball. Although the Armenian side looked likely to score early on, this momentum was short-lived.

Tosin fired in the first to start the Chelsea rampage. Only minute later Guiu takes advantage of a clumsy defence and slots in the second.

From a Fernandez corner, Disasi found plenty of space and heads the ball into the net to make it a third for Chelsea.

FC Noah dispossessed again allowing Felix a through on goal putting a fourth in showing no mercy to the visitors.

Chelsea charged through, being left too much space by FC Noah’s midfield. Mudryk who had options with Felix to his right, scored Chelsea’s fifth from 20 yards out.

FC Noah had a few chances but gave away the ball again to Disasi who ran the pitch and passed to Felix who scored the sixth.

The second half brought even more goals with Chelsea looking on track to hit double digits. Nkunku was through but his shot was blocked, the Chelsea forward caught the ball on the volley and shot it straight into the back of the net.

Penalty call for Chelsea goes to VAR as Dewsbury-Hall goes down in the box. Disaster for Noah as Nkunku converts the penalty shooting straight down the middle.

A defeated looking Noah showed no signs of clawing a goal back as Chukwuemeka powers through their defence to almost put a ninth past them, amazing save from the keeper.

The game calls to a close as the home support still cheer ‘We want 10’. A night to forget for the Armenian side.

Chelsea 8-0 FC Noah
